Grooming into Human Trafficking

Anyone can be a human trafficker and act as one.

If you have a boyfriend, friend, or girlfriend who starts to convince you, coach you, or guilt you into engaging in sexual activity with others for money, engaging in sugar baby behaviours, or selling sexually inappropriate content online- they would be, by definition, a human trafficker. 

The average age of a human trafficker ranges between 16-29 years old!

Sexual Exploitation is the most common form of human trafficking. It is defined as being when someone under the age of 18 exchanges a sexual act in order to get something in return. Exchanging a sexual act for needs such as money, love, acceptance, popularity, drugs, or anything else is sexual exploitation. By legal definition, someone under 18 is not able to provide consent to any form of sexual exploitation.
